If only! Learning to control the physical properties of the universe could only lead to extreme wealth. Well, or the destruction of all I hold dear through the accidental creation of a life sucking black hole. Or something.

Probably UTS, they seem to offer night time classes.

I need night-time physics learnin'.

We could be physics study buddies!!!! And eventually combine our powers and take over the world, until the 3rd trade paperback where one of us turns evil and needs to be beaten almost to death before repenting and saving the world

I can do evil!

I can also do physics.

Time to email the physics department and see what one would need to do to convince them to take on a mature age human :-)

UTS is pretty good about mature aged humans.

Hey, I've just looked at the science degrees subject lists and they're all 6 credit points! Slackers!

UTS: the ugliest uni in Sydney

At least I wouldn't be distracted from my learning by looking at pretty architecture :-D

I think physics would be more fun but engineering will be more applicable to gaining a job.

Job-schmob! I care not for gainful employment, more fun is a good arguement :-D

or perhaps I should do a degree in spelling, cause I seem to need one!

spelling-schmelling I almost have a degree in reading through typos.

it also depends on what kind of engineering you were talking about. Aeronautical engineering sounds kind of awesome, as does robotics.

that is true... mechatronic engineering was one of the options, but it doesn't say much about what it actually involves.

time to email some academics then!
Also it would so rock if you went to UTS, you could totally visit my office and store stuff here.

Which would be totally rad! And could even involve coffee :-D

As far as I understand it, mechatronics is pretty much a collision between electrical/electronic, software and mechanical engineering, with a heavy emphasis on control systems.

Sounds like a blast to me - all I need is the time and the money.

That does sound neat.. argh! Decision!

I wonder if they will let me do a couple of engineering subjects in a physics degree?

Fo-rizzle doggy fizzle. Fuck engineering, it is full of sexist assholes who only know how to drink beer and and steal street signs. Do physics ftw, you will love the maths and research.

That is true. Sold! Now all I have to do is convince them to accept me without any experience
